Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as the architecture interface between Product and Engineering for streaming, SSP/ad server, DSP, audience and identity, measurement, and revenue science platforms.
- Create solution blueprints, reference architectures, architecture decision records, migration plans, and product-aligned architecture roadmaps.
- Provide hands-on design leadership for cloud-native, distributed, high-scale systems, including reliability, observability, security, privacy, and cost controls.
- Shape standards for data contracts, identity, consent, measurement, and programmatic interoperability across buy-side and sell-side workflows.
- Lead strategic initiatives to reduce technical debt, improve software quality and velocity, and establish reusable engineering practices.
- Advise leaders on build, buy, extend, customize, and deprecate decisions; facilitate architecture reviews and develop proof-of-concepts and reference implementations.
- Develop strategies and guidelines for cloud governance, technology stack selection, capability development, and systems deprecation.
- Mentor architects and engineers, lead cross-functional design forums, and contribute to enterprise architecture practices and talent growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture or engineering, including 5+ years leading distributed, high-scale, low-latency systems.
- Experience designing or leading architectures for ad serving and SSP platforms, preferably premium video or CTV, including decisioning, mediation, forecasting, and yield protections.
- Working knowledge of header bidding, OpenRTB, private marketplaces, curated deals, supply-path optimization, and auction transparency.
- Experience building or integrating DSP workflows such as planning, activation, bidding, pacing, optimization, frequency management, brand safety, and measurement.
- Practical knowledge of identity and addressability concepts including first-party graphs, UID2, PPID, clean rooms, and buyer-seller ID alignment.
- Experience architecting privacy-centric audience and measurement capabilities, including data onboarding, audience building, forecasting, reach and frequency, and outcomes.
- Experience with Kubernetes, service mesh, autoscaling, OpenTelemetry, resilience engineering, and at least one major cloud; multi-cloud experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of security and privacy patterns including OAuth, OIDC, tokenization, encryption, secrets management, least privilege, auditability, API management, and API security standards.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into roadmaps, blueprints, and execution plans and communicate with product, engineering, sales, and client-facing leaders.
- Bonus qualifications include live-event or live-linear ad decisioning, SSAI, live sports or news advertising, curated supply strategies, buyer curation tools, and AI/ML or analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Comcast may also consider coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
