Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering Directors, and Principal Architects to translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps.
- Design and implement Apple client features and services from conception through deployment.
- Drive cross-functional delivery with Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams.
- Mentor Senior engineers, guide technical design reviews, and raise engineering standards across the organization.
- Improve code quality, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and architectural practices.
- Identify emerging trends in device security and AI-native development and prototype solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive software development experience building Apple macOS or iOS features using Swift.
- Deep expertise in Apple macOS or iOS software environments, including performance optimization and security considerations.
- Advanced debugging and performance optimization experience with Xcode, LLDB, and Instruments, including resolving memory issues and concurrency bugs.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD in fast-paced development environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
- Conceptual understanding of Apple macOS or iOS security features.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: cryptography, endpoint security, Secure Enclave, MDM protocols, endpoint detection, FIDO, OIDC/OAuth, cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, CISSP, or Security+.
