Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, gap analyses, process mapping, and documentation with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional specifications, and developer-ready requirements.
- Own Salesforce enhancement intake and backlog prioritization through delivery in partnership with project and product owners.
- Determine whether requirements should be addressed with Salesforce configuration, Flow, Apex, LWC, or integration changes.
- Plan and execute UAT, manage defect triage and sign-off, and maintain traceability through configuration changes and release notes.
- Administer Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, security models, data governance, and object model changes.
- Design, build, audit, and maintain Flow automation while migrating legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation where appropriate.
- Partner with integration teams on Salesforce data flows, failures, synchronization errors, data integrity, and external-system changes.
- Manage sandbox strategy, releases, change management, deployment coordination, org health, API and storage limits, and technical debt.
- Build Apex classes, triggers, batch, queueable, and schedulable jobs; develop Lightning Web Components; and write meaningful unit tests.
- Design and implement REST/SOAP, Platform Events, and middleware integrations with secure authentication, error handling, and failure logging.
- Enforce Salesforce governance standards, support end-user training, resolve cross-department process conflicts, and lead troubleshooting and process improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience spanning both functional/business-analysis work and hands-on development.
- Salesforce Administrator certification and Platform Developer I certification are required.
- Expert Flow Builder proficiency, including bulkification and sound Flow-versus-Apex decision-making.
- Strong Apex fundamentals including trigger frameworks, asynchronous Apex, and governor-limit management.
- Proven Lightning Web Components experience and experience building secure enterprise integrations.
- Experience with REST/SOAP, middleware or iPaaS, or event-driven architecture from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Experience supporting multiple business units on a complex shared Salesforce org and strong enterprise Salesforce security knowledge.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, communication, stakeholder workshop, and technical design review skills.
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, and Platform App Builder certifications are preferred.
