Base Salary
$127k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to real-world projects across the full software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, test, analyze, and integrate code and application components with team guidance.
- Develop data-driven solutions using machine learning and AI technologies.
- Create technical documentation and participate in design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with peers, seek mentorship, and progressively take on more challenging engineering work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python, Java, C++, or Go, including APIs/services, tests, and Git-based collaboration.
- Hands-on exposure to machine learning and deep learning concepts, training/inference workflows, and model evaluation using PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation concepts.
- Exposure to ML data handling such as Parquet, basic ETL, and data quality checks.
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred qualifications include FastAPI or Flask, REST or gRPC, LangChain or LlamaIndex, vector search, LoRA or PEFT, MLflow or Weights & Biases, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Spark, Ray, Kafka, or Airflow.
- Must have completed the F5 Summer 2026 Internship Program and received an invitation to apply for a return role.
- Must be willing to relocate to Seattle, WA, or San Jose, CA, if not currently located in one of those areas.
