Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software for automotive RADAR applications.
- Develop platform integration and system-level software for automotive electronics projects.
- Translate customer application and system requirements into functional software design requirements.
- Provide technical leadership to colleagues and customers when developing and implementing enhancements.
- Perform analysis, design, reviews, verification testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of software and hardware functions.
- Implement device security using Hardware Security Modules and manage security keys throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support customer and internal project activities and collaborate with engineering groups, suppliers, and external customers.
- Create and update technical documentation and follow applicable regulations, procedures, and team processes.
Requirements
- A university degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in C, C++, or Python for embedded systems.
- Working knowledge of ISO 21434 road vehicle cybersecurity engineering.
- Experience implementing embedded device security using a Hardware Security Module and managing security keys throughout the product lifecycle.
- Experience with software configuration using the Vector tool chain.
- Good understanding of RTOS concepts, task scheduling, inter-process communication, and system development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, organization, planning, time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Desirable experience with RADAR or LIDAR products, NXP Racerunner microcontrollers, and documenting implemented modules.
