Base Salary

Responsibilities

Build cross-platform expertise in Alkami’s demo tooling across front-end and back-end systems.
Partner with Sales Engineers and sales leadership to identify pain points, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Design, build, and maintain the next generation of demo tooling using AI-assisted development.
Provide deep technical support during active deals involving MANTL’s API, Alkami’s SDK, and complex integrations.
Serve as the primary technical resource for demo tooling, configuration, and capability questions.
Identify product limitations, develop workarounds, and communicate field signals to platform strategy.
Coach and upskill Sales Engineers on technical positioning and objection handling.
Track the role’s contribution to win rate and identify recurring gaps requiring product investment.
Champion AI-assisted development workflows and automation standards across the Sales Engineering organization.

6–10 years of experience in solutions engineering or software development roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Hands-on proficiency in one or more modern languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for independently building front-end and back-end tooling.
Deep knowledge of API and SDK design, authentication, and extensibility frameworks.
Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
Working proficiency in SQL and relational databases, including complex query construction and troubleshooting.
Ability to synthesize stakeholder input into a technical roadmap and evaluate build, buy, or improve options.
Strong presentation and consultative skills with senior technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting active deals and explaining APIs, SDKs, integrations, and complex technical concepts.
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to prioritize technical gaps.
Preferred qualifications include digital banking or financial services experience, SDK or extensibility framework development, internal tools or platform development, 0-to-1 tooling or infrastructure work, and competitive analysis or solution positioning experience.
