Base Salary
$180k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems supporting Uniswap Labs’ shared services.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and review code from other team members.
- Provide technical guidance on architectural and coding tradeoffs.
- Drive strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that affect the broader engineering organization.
- Improve developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices.
- Build and maintain large-scale cloud production systems with high availability.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience focused on infrastructure.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or Rust.
- Strong coding, debugging, algorithm, and AWS cloud architecture skills.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale production systems on the cloud.
- Ability to build systems from the ground up in a 0-to-1 environment.
- Experience or strong interest in infrastructure-as-code tools, with Pulumi as a plus.
- Experience with distributed systems, authentication, or developer tooling is preferred.
- A computer science degree and blockchain or DeFi background are preferred.
