Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing workflows for researching, sourcing, and purchasing environmental commodities
- Partner with Product and Design to develop high-impact 80/20 solutions
- Own initiatives by clarifying scope, sequencing work, aligning stakeholders, and driving delivery
- Improve quality through thoughtful reviews and pragmatic architecture
- Communicate clearly in writing and use meetings for collaboration and decision-making
- Mentor others and shape the platform’s future direction
Requirements
- Strong product engineering mindset focused on customer problems and crisp scope
- High ownership, urgency, and ability to proactively shape the next 3–12 months
- Direct, respectful communication and accountability within a DRI model
- Regular use of AI to tighten feedback loops and unblock work without compromising quality or judgment
- Excellent engineering fundamentals, including reliable, secure, and maintainable software
- Prior Ruby on Rails experience is helpful but not required
- Earlier-career candidates are welcome if they demonstrate exceptional product thinking and judgment
