Responsibilities
- Support the design and scaling of high-throughput services for first- and last-mile delivery operations.
- Build and enhance the Delivery Optimization Engine using Python backend services and routing algorithms.
- Apply network analysis, spatial optimization, geospatial data concepts, and routing approaches such as graph theory, road-network modeling, and Vehicle Routing Problems.
- Design and scale microservices-based architecture using cloud-native and Big Data solutions.
- Maintain engineering excellence through clean code, testing, continuous integration and delivery, and rigorous code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of commercial backend software development experience using Python and SQL.
- Experience or strong understanding of logistics, network analysis, and routing algorithms.
- Experience applying geospatial data concepts in code, including spatial indexing, clustering algorithms, or PostGIS.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure tools including Kubernetes, Terraform, and Airflow.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and scalable service design.
- Higher technical education in Computer Science or a related field.
- English proficiency of at least B2+.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
