Base Salary
$63k - $100k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance enterprise applications.
- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components using Java and Python.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues while optimizing reliability and performance.
- Contribute to application architecture, solution design, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of overall IT experience in software development and enterprise application delivery.
- Experience in the Capital Markets and Banking industry.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Python.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern application development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and large-scale application performance optimization.
- Preferred understanding of regulatory, risk, or trading platforms within Capital Markets environments.
