Responsibilities
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Gemini to accelerate frontend development and improve UI/UX workflows.
- Review AI-generated code for security, accessibility, performance, and architectural fit, and establish safe AI development practices.
- Design and implement scalable frontend architecture with React and Next.js, optimizing Core Web Vitals, SEO, and user experience.
- Architect GA4/GTM event tracking and reusable data-layer schemas for analytics and conversion measurement.
- Develop headless WordPress integrations using WPGraphQL and REST APIs, including CMS-to-frontend data flows.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and marketing teams on requirements, integrations, conversion optimization, and user success.
- Conduct code reviews, establish quality standards, and mentor junior engineers on architecture, accessibility, and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and implement scalable solutions.
- Improve development and deployment processes by automating frontend testing, builds, and release pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience building production systems.
- Deep proficiency with React, Next.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+, asynchronous patterns, and state management.
- Experience adopting an AI development lifecycle while maintaining quality and architectural standards.
- Strong system-design and scalable-architecture skills, including documenting decisions and communicating trade-offs.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills, including rendering performance, accessibility, responsive design, and Core Web Vitals.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions or similar automation.
- Knowledge of REST and GraphQL API integration, with WPGraphQL experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem, including themes, plugins, and PHP concepts, or willingness to learn independently.
- Strong analytics foundation covering GA4, GTM, event tracking, data flows, and user-journey measurement.
- Ability to use AI tools to research backend concepts, solve integration problems, and expand technical knowledge.
- Good English and Chinese communication skills in multilingual, cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include headless CMS experience with WordPress, Contentful, or Sanity; advanced GA4/GTM expertise; Jest, Cypress, or Playwright experience; Node.js, Python, or PHP familiarity; Docker experience; SEO tools knowledge; Storybook or design-system experience; infrastructure-as-code or deployment-pipeline knowledge; AI-assisted workflow adoption; internationalization experience; and frontend security knowledge including XSS and CSRF prevention.
