Base Salary
$150k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain production-grade Python and Go code for ETL pipelines, data models, and platform integrations.
- Apply agentic AI workflows to automate data engineering, correlation, and root-cause analysis across complex infrastructure data.
- Set technical direction for backend systems and integrations through architecture and design decisions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, review code, and raise the team's technical bar.
- Connect the platform to customer data sources, APIs, and existing tooling through backend logic.
- Work directly with customers to understand their data, workflows, environments, and analytics requirements.
- Lead hands-on customer integrations, platform deployments, enablement, and self-service extensions.
- Drive pre-sales activities and proof-of-concept builds with the sales team.
- Translate customer feedback into product and engineering improvement proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of professional experience in a technical or engineering role, including end-to-end systems ownership.
- Strong Python skills with deep experience building ETL pipelines and working with complex data structures.
- Ansible or Go exposure is a plus.
- Demonstrated technical leadership through project leadership, mentoring, or setting technical direction.
- Working knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Jupyter notebooks is a plus.
- Experience with or strong interest in agentic AI workflows applied to engineering problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience in customer-facing environments.
- Understanding of networking concepts including data centers, WAN, DNS, and DHCP.
