Base Salary
$186k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define software design specifications and implement reliable code using test-driven methodology and AI-based coding tools.
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable systems with networking and security features for high-performance applications.
- Perform unit testing, automation, troubleshooting, profiling, and verification to ensure system quality and performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering Architects, Product Managers, customers, and Solution Architects on use cases, PRDs, and system issues.
- Coach and mentor junior team members while driving high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, highly reliable, and scalable software systems, preferably using Python and/or Go.
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking services and concepts, including Transit Gateway, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, NACLs, security groups, GWLB, ILB, Route 53, and Azure DNS.
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML technologies and experience applying, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Strong software design, profiling, and verification skills with experience optimizing systems for scale and performance.
- Preferred: experience designing distributed systems and SaaS platforms with highly available, resilient production services.
- Preferred: expertise in firewalls, network security principles, core networking protocols, and complex traffic-flow troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience architecting and building Firewall-as-a-Service solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
