Responsibilities

  • Develop software components addressing customer requirements for ADG Systems R&D applications.
  • Implement and test software features and capabilities for new and existing offerings.
  • Contribute to system-level software architectures, APIs, and user interfaces.
  • Work with domain experts and engineering teams to execute implementation strategies.
  • Prioritize work items and deliver features on schedule within an Agile team environment.
  • Follow and refine coding guidelines and participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to effective test plans.
  • Diagnose technical issues, propose solutions, and drive tasks or projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Working toward a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Information Science, or Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and development experience on Windows or Linux platforms using traditional text-based programming and/or NI software.
  • Basic understanding of software design principles.
  • US Citizen and/or US Person status as required by law, regulations, and/or government contracts with the Department of Defense.
  • Preferred: understanding of NI software tools including LabVIEW, TestStand, and VeriStand.
  • Preferred: experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and processes.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with NI hardware platforms.
  • Preferred: understanding of Agile software development principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and management and quickly learn applicable technologies, systems, and products.
