Responsibilities
- Understand prospective customers’ needs, pain points, and technical requirements.
- Design and implement solutions using open-source and Diagrid technologies.
- Create and deliver customer demonstrations and build proof-of-concept solutions in multiple programming languages.
- Provide architecture guidance for cloud-native technologies, distributed systems, and cloud-based applications.
- Onboard customers to Diagrid products and help them adopt Dapr.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to validate Dapr opportunities and influence Diagrid products.
- Gather customer feedback, scope feature requests into user stories, and inform product and company leadership.
- Help customers address distributed-system challenges across existing and new applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Developer Advocate, or similar technical customer-facing role.
- Experience with modern application architectures and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience designing and building enterprise applications and solutions.
- Strong understanding of computer science principles with a focus on distributed systems.
- Strong developer experience in at least one of Java, .NET, or Go.
- Good experience with Node and Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container-based systems.
- Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with public cloud providers, ASP.NET Core, Express, Django, Spring Boot, open-source contributions, and Dapr.
- Ability to shift priorities quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
