Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing payment technology solutions from concept through production.
- Shape application architecture using cloud-native and microservices patterns to improve resilience, scalability, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Build modern frontend and backend applications that improve usability and enable seamless commerce experiences.
- Champion engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and security standards.
- Mentor engineers, support technical growth, and influence technical decisions across teams.
- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver measurable business and client outcomes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex full-stack software solutions.
- Deep expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and scalable application development.
- Advanced proficiency with React 18, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, observability tools, and secure application design.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technical decision-making skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field is a bonus qualification.
- Experience with Oracle Database, advanced SQL development, enterprise-scale data solutions, IBM Rational tools, and large-scale enterprise application development is preferred.
