Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support APIs, backend services, web applications, and developer platforms.
- Build self-service portals, platform catalogs, reusable libraries, reference implementations, and engineering automation.
- Develop integrations with microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, API gateways, and enterprise tools.
- Build AI agents, LLM-enabled applications, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions for enterprise knowledge and architecture workflows.
- Implement AI evaluation, security, governance, observability, and human-approval controls.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, rollback processes, and infrastructure or configuration as code.
- Implement resilience, high availability, failover, disaster recovery, observability, performance testing, and production troubleshooting.
- Convert architecture standards into reusable components, automated checks, policy-as-code, security guardrails, and reference designs.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture decision records, platform adoption guidance, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Strong software development experience with Java, Python, C#/.NET, or comparable backend technologies.
- Experience developing frontend applications with React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, distributed systems, asynchronous services, relational and NoSQL databases, messaging, and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience developing LLM applications, AI agents, prompt workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, AI frameworks, model APIs, tool calling, evaluation, and responsible AI controls.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, service discovery, container security, cloud or enterprise infrastructure, CI/CD, Git, automated testing, release management, and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, secrets management, encryption, secure coding, API security, dependency management, vulnerability remediation, and data protection.
- Experience with application performance monitoring, distributed tracing, centralized logging, metrics, alerting, SLO-based monitoring, resilience engineering, chaos testing, capacity planning, and performance engineering.
- Experience building internal developer platforms, service catalogs, automated compliance checks, platform engineering tools, or policy-as-code solutions.
- Experience with financial services, wealth management, banking, trading, or other high-availability systems is expected.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required; experience with Kubernetes operators, service mesh, serverless platforms, observability tools, security scanning, DevSecOps, and production AI monitoring is preferred.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline is preferred but not required.
