Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications supporting semiconductor factory data processing.
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot distributed, high-throughput, and highly available platform components.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable backend services.
- Participate in architectural reviews and improve system design.
- Resolve complex issues across backend services, distributed systems, and infrastructure layers.
- Contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, technical design discussions, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience building and maintaining scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Working experience with Scala and/or Rust for backend engineering.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, backend development, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with data-intensive systems and high-throughput processing.
- Expertise troubleshooting and debugging backend services, distributed systems, and infrastructure layers.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, virtualization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency building and consuming RESTful APIs and experience with Azure cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and accountability skills.
