Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
- Own technical evaluations, including solution design, proofs of concept or value, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
- Partner with Account Executives and regional sales teams to support customer acquisition and expansion strategies.
- Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders and guide customers through digital transformation.
- Advise customers on modern software development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and cloud practices.
- Share customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
- Create reusable technical examples, best-practice guidance, and customer and partner collateral.
- Continue developing expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and related cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source-control, continuous-integration, continuous-deployment, and collaboration platforms.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related deployment, security, and operations technologies.
- Ability to lead proofs of concept or value, contribute to tenders or audits, and design and facilitate workshops or value stream assessments.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills for audiences ranging from practitioners to senior business and technical decision makers.
- Ability to build trusted relationships, listen empathetically, and advocate for customers internally.
- Motivation to learn new technologies and deepen GitLab platform expertise.
- Fluency in Arabic.
