Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve enterprise-scale CI/CD platforms for multi-team and multi-environment software delivery.
  • Build self-service developer platform capabilities for infrastructure provisioning, deployment automation, secrets management, and operational workflows.
  • Improve software supply chain security through artifact management, vulnerability scanning, policy enforcement, workload identity, and secure deployment practices.
  • Define governance standards for CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, access management, and cloud resource utilization.
  • Drive observability and operational excellence through metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and SLO-based monitoring.
  • Partner with application and reliability engineering teams to improve deployment reliability, release velocity, and incident response.
  • Research and evaluate Kubernetes, container, platform engineering, developer tooling, and cloud-native security technologies.
  • Use AI-driven development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and engineering efficiency.
  • Review High-Level Design documents covering architecture, scalability, reliability, security, operations, and deployment considerations.
  • Mentor engineers, influence technical direction, contribute to platform strategy, and participate in weekly on-call and triage rotations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Development experience in Go, Python, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, cloud-native infrastructure, and CI/CD platforms at scale.
  • Understanding of CI/CD architecture, deployment automation, GitOps workflows, and developer platform engineering.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, or CDK.
  • Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, policy enforcement, and least-privilege access controls.
  • Strong troubleshooting and operational skills across Linux systems, networking, containers, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
  • Some expertise with AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, Route 53, S3, CloudWatch, ECR, Lambda, and managed Kubernetes services.
  • Experience operating and securing Linux-based systems such as Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, or container-optimized operating systems.
  • Experience managing artifact registries and their lifecycle, including governance, retention, replication, and security controls.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant platform architectures and developer experience optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document architecture, operational processes, and engineering standards.
