Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features across the NestJS/GraphQL backend and Angular frontend.
- Design and extend dbt data-transformation pipelines moving data from MongoDB into SQL models for reporting and analytics.
- Design services, API contracts, and data models across microservice boundaries.
- Contribute to Kubernetes-deployed, cloud-native infrastructure and Helm-based deployments alongside DevOps.
- Investigate and resolve data-integrity issues in production and nonproduction environments.
- Participate in architecture and scalability discussions and own features from design through deployment and support.
- Collaborate with QA and product teams to deliver end-to-end defect fixes.
- Use AI coding agents to direct multi-step changes and critically review generated code for correctness, security, and team conventions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience; 10+ years preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Node.js/NestJS experience, or comparable experience with .NET Core or Go and a clear path to NestJS.
- Frontend experience with Angular 7 or later.
- Experience with MongoDB or another document store and moving data into relational or SQL models.
- Experience with microservice architecture, REST/GraphQL API design, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Application-security experience involving authentication, permissions, and data handling.
- Experience owning software work end to end across design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Daily hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Preferred: dbt, Angular 18, Nx monorepos, Kubernetes certification such as CKAD, GraphQL, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Helm chart authoring, production data-integrity troubleshooting, or experience in property management, financial services, or another regulated data-heavy domain.
