Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend applications, microservices, and APIs for scalability and performance.
- Implement third-party integrations and external APIs to enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure backend systems are secure, well-documented, and thoroughly tested.
- Develop, test, and deliver client-facing, production-ready features.
- Collaborate in a cross-disciplinary, remote Product Engineering team.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Translate business goals into technical architecture and requirements.
- Estimate product scope and timelines.
- Work on various parts of the stack as needed.
Requirements
- Deep understanding and experience with cloud-based services and service design patterns.
- Collaborative, client-friendly approach to API design.
- Experience with modern technologies like NodeJS/Typescript, AWS, Terraform, and React.
- Strong understanding of all layers of a production system including data and integrations.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
- Experience building highly scalable and performant backend services preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment.
- Healthcare or virtual care experience preferred, FHIR experience a bonus.
- Willingness to jump into different parts of the stack as needed.
