Responsibilities
- Define master test plans and overall testing strategies for software projects.
- Thoroughly test software applications to verify proper operation and freedom from defects before implementation.
- Document software problems and establish quantitative methods for measuring software quality.
- Develop testing standards and methods, conduct complex software tests, and evaluate QA products and services.
- Analyze workflows, recommend quality improvements, and develop possible future configurations.
- Assist with selecting test engineers and mentor or sometimes manage junior test engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five years of related experience in quality assurance and testing.
