
Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy software projects and programs.
- Develop full-stack applications using Java, Angular or React, Spring, databases, RESTful services, and microservices.
- Design and implement scalable, high-availability, event-driven, and cloud-native solutions.
- Participate in the end-to-end product and application development lifecycle, including complex requirements analysis and technical specification writing.
- Lead projects, provide coding direction and guidance to junior team members, and act as an escalation point for technical issues.
- Collaborate with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and improve system resiliency.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and support application enhancements, bug fixes, and service integrations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as OpenShift or PCF.
- Proficiency developing web applications with UI and server technologies including Angular or React, Spring Framework, JDBC, and JavaBeans.
- Experience developing Java services, Spring Boot RESTful microservices, Spring and EJB business-layer components, and MVC services.
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases and strong knowledge of JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, and test automation.
- Knowledge of cross-platform consumption patterns, microservices, event-driven architectures, high availability, and scalability.
- Experience with Autosys or similar orchestration tools, Object Storage, and cloud solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design and development, Java patterns and practices, and Agile software development techniques.
- Ability to collaborate on scalable, high-performance solutions using Java, Python, microservices, and Autosys.
