Base Salary
$142k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve software, tooling, services, and automation that enhance production reliability.
- Develop shared observability capabilities for metrics, logs, traces, service health, and customer impact.
- Improve incident response and operational readiness through tooling, automation, standards, and actionable production signals.
- Build resiliency capabilities that identify failure modes, reduce operational risk, and improve recovery.
- Replace recurring manual operational work with durable software and automation.
- Use AI throughout software development and operational problem solving, including developing AI-enabled reliability workflows.
Requirements
- Requires 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Requires strong software development skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Requires experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software, internal tooling, or infrastructure.
- Requires experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, observability, monitoring, or production operations.
- Requires participation in on-call or incident response for production systems.
- Requires the ability to independently deliver well-scoped projects, navigate technical ambiguity, and collaborate across engineering teams.
- Requires experience using AI-assisted development tools across multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle.
- Preferred qualifications include Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure as code, cloud-native production environments, reliability or observability tooling, Datadog, Sumo Logic, CloudWatch, high-availability distributed applications, and reliability practices such as service level objectives, capacity planning, resiliency testing, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.

- Base salary range of $142,000–$196,600 USD, plus target bonuses and equity compensation.
