Responsibilities

  • Improve the performance, availability, and scalability of large distributed content delivery systems.
  • Define and establish measurable Service Level Indicators and Service Level Objectives with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to align system designs and implementations with reliability and performance requirements.
  • Monitor platform availability and performance, analyze data, resolve complex issues, and prevent recurring incidents.
  • Create automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce repetitive work.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews focused on scalability, performance, and resilience.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Use Oracle SQL to validate data integrity, analyze anomalies, and generate reports for root-cause analysis.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ADBMS, and Datadog for metrics, alerts, dashboards, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in Unix/Linux operating environments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, automation, operational efficiency, accountability, and effective communication.
