Responsibilities
- Own the technical win for enterprise platform pursuits from discovery and qualification through architecture, demonstrations, proofs of concept, proposals, and close.
- Translate client engineering, AI, cloud, and operations challenges into credible platform architectures and adoption plans.
- Shape platform strategy and roadmap by prioritizing client requirements and providing direction to Platform Engineering product managers.
- Lead, hire, coach, and manage the India-based PoC and Demo team while developing demo standards and coaching teams globally.
- Represent Cognizant AI Platforms with clients, senior technology leaders, industry events, cloud marketplaces, and partner organizations.
- Partner across Commercial, Delivery, Marketing, Communications, Solution Architect, implementation, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams to drive adoption.
- Publish client wins, case studies, release communications, and platform success stories to build market momentum.
Requirements
- 20+ years of software, AI, digital, cloud, or engineering experience with strong client-facing leadership and people-management skills.
- 20–25 years of software, AI, digital, and cloud engineering experience, including 7+ years leading advisory technical conversations with senior client engineers, architects, and C-suite technology leaders.
- Experience as a senior software or platform product engineer, advisory or solutions engineer, developer advocate, or solution architect who has moved into technical go-to-market leadership.
- Proven experience building, managing, and developing technical teams, ideally PoC, demo, presales, or solutions-engineering teams.
- Ability to shape product roadmaps, prioritize requirements, and translate field feedback into product direction.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience across AI-enabled software development, DevSecOps, cloud modernization, AI assurance, SRE/AIOps, and agentic or generative-AI solutions.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Microsoft, Google, Anthropic, OpenAI, NVIDIA, LLM providers, orchestration frameworks, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, demonstration, and technical writing skills, with the ability to explain technical capabilities through business outcomes.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple concurrent pursuits, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to travel to client sites, studios, and industry events.
- Preferred qualifications include hyperscaler certifications, SaaS/PaaS platform experience, product strategy exposure, and marketplace or co-sell experience.
