Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain AI governance artifacts, standards, patterns, reference architectures, and technical whitepapers.
  • Manage CALM standard evolution and alignment with AI platforms including Athena, Nova, and Atlas.
  • Define and evolve the AI Technical Reference Model, capability catalog, and license-to-build criteria.
  • Support the AI Architecture Review Board by preparing materials, reviewing submissions, and providing architectural opinions.
  • Represent AI Architecture in broader Technology Infrastructure and Security governance forums.
  • Track agent adherence to standards and patterns and report compliance and non-compliance.
  • Review solution designs with engineering teams and provide architectural guidance.
  • Deliver insights on AI asset catalogs, capability coverage, compliance metrics, and adoption trends.
  • Modernize the SafeAI process and integrate it with AI platform governance.
  • Publish Architecture Decision Records and coordinate cross-pillar architecture decisions.
  • Build tools, agents, MCPs, visualizers, and automation for architecture governance and compliance insights.
  • Translate business and technical problems into implementable designs and contribute hands-on development.
  • Research emerging AI technologies, evaluate vendors, drive proofs of concept, and partner with business, security, enterprise architecture, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of AI technologies including LLMs, agents, RAG, agentic systems, and AI infrastructure.
  • Hands-on coding ability and comfort building tools, automations, and prototypes.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, API design, and modern development practices.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems and translate abstract requirements into implementable designs.
  • Experience creating technical standards, patterns, or reference architectures.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and how to operationalize governance at scale.
  • Comfort working with Architecture Review Boards or similar governance bodies.
  • Ability to context-switch between strategic standards work and tactical tool building in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across enterprise architecture, security, engineering, governance, and business teams.
  • Interest in AI governance, responsible AI adoption, emerging AI trends, and production-ready enterprise technology.
