Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure software systems using Rust.
- Develop and optimize performance-critical, low-latency applications for demanding trading environments.
- Apply distributed-systems, concurrency, networking, and systems-programming principles.
- Diagnose technical and performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver maintainable solutions aligned with trading and financial-services requirements.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant software engineering experience with strong Rust and systems-programming expertise.
- Experience designing and developing performance-critical and low-latency applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and networking.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience identifying bottlenecks and optimizing software systems.
- Experience with trading or financial systems is preferred.
- Experience with complex, high-throughput, or latency-sensitive systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering practices supporting production software reliability, security, and performance is preferred.
