Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance Java applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Build microservices and RESTful APIs for distributed enterprise systems.
- Develop Kafka-based event-driven solutions and work with MongoDB and SQL databases.
- Contribute to cloud deployment strategies, containerized environments, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform code reviews, automated testing, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and secure coding implementation.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, quality engineering, DevOps, business stakeholders, and clients across the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor team members, guide technical decisions, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 9+ years of team-leading and hands-on experience with Java, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB.
- Strong expertise building scalable distributed applications with microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with MongoDB and SQL databases, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, API gateways, and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with public-facing web applications and enterprise-grade banking solutions is helpful.
- Mentoring developers, guiding technical decisions, and improving scalability, resilience, observability, and performance are preferred qualifications.
