Responsibilities

  • Build SAP BTP services and applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, CDS models, OData v4 services, business logic, validation, and authorization.
  • Create SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 interfaces, APIs, and services connecting SAP and non-SAP processes.
  • Build SAP Integration Suite content including flows, mappings, API policies, events, retry logic, alerting, and monitoring.
  • Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Support testing, defect resolution, cutover, stabilization, and root-cause correction.
  • Produce technical documentation, deployment guides, and handover materials.
  • Develop reusable components, templates, and code samples and support onboarding of new developers.

Requirements

  • At least six years of software development experience, including at least three years working with SAP BTP.
  • At least three years of experience with Node.js or Java, CDS modeling, and OData v4 service design.
  • At least three years of experience with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • At least two years of experience with SAP Integration Suite, including an event-driven scenario.
  • Hands-on experience with XSUAA, destinations, on-premises connectivity, and principal propagation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills for working with clients across North America.
  • Preferred assets include SAP enterprise architecture, TOGAF, SAP LeanIX, cloud architecture, or SAP Activate certification, as well as experience with RISE with SAP, mergers and acquisitions, or assessing SAP AI and agentic capabilities.
