Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable APIs and data layers for user access and identity management.
- Oversee authentication and authorization flows and ensure alignment with IT security standards and regulatory expectations.
- Develop scalable .NET Core services, microservices, and modular components for enterprise integration.
- Guide responsible use of GitHub Copilot, secure coding practices, maintainable architecture, and team mentoring.
- Coordinate hybrid collaboration, backlog visibility, and delivery of identity and access management features.
- Optimize Entity Framework Core data access for performance, query efficiency, and transactional integrity.
- Embed threat modeling, input validation, encryption, and other secure design principles throughout the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with IT security and IT business support stakeholders to define technical requirements and prioritize feature roadmaps.
- Define automated testing strategies for API, authentication, authorization, and data protection functionality.
- Resolve identity and access incidents through root-cause analysis, corrective changes, and improved logs, metrics, and alerts.
- Document technical designs, API contracts, and operational runbooks for support and governance.
- Improve coding standards, deployment pipelines, monitoring capabilities, operational resilience, and protection of personal information.
Requirements
- Strong experience building secure, scalable services with ASP.NET Core Web API and .NET Core.
- Advanced proficiency with Entity Framework Core, including data modeling, migrations, performance tuning, and transactional operations.
- Practical expertise using GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity, code quality, security, and compliance.
- Proven experience with user access and identity management, including authentication, authorization, and account and role lifecycles.
- Deep understanding of IT security, secure coding, incident response coordination, enterprise security frameworks, and audit expectations.
- Background in IT business support and translating stakeholder needs into stable technical services and features.
