Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and platform innovation across ventures and the Commonwealth Bank Group.
- Design and implement large-scale agentic distributed systems.
- Help engineering teams create adaptable software and drive adoption of DevSecOps practices.
- Improve platform reliability, testing practices, and responsible AI practices.
- Deliver stable platforms for internal consumers while optimizing group outcomes.
- Shift between business solution development and platform development based on organizational needs.
- Partner with product and engineering stakeholders to influence and educate them on solution principles and practices.
- Coach and mentor engineers while helping solve real-time, data-centric problems.
- Optimize AI inference and training pipelines and work with distributed storage, data pipelines, and scalable architectures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack software engineering and leading impactful projects.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong TypeScript skills and DevSecOps experience.
- Expertise optimizing AI inference and training pipelines.
- Knowledge of distributed storage, data pipelines, and scalable architectures.
- Curiosity about generative AI technologies such as transformers, LLMs, and diffusion models.
- Experience with cloud architecture, development, security, and infrastructure as code across AWS and Azure.
- Exposure to Vercel and Cloudflare, high-availability systems, API gateways, and agentic systems.
- Experience with .NET, Python, TypeScript, C#, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and vector, graph, and SQL databases.
- Prompt engineering experience is preferred.
- Risk awareness, sound judgment, adaptability, continuous learning, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at different seniority levels.
