Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of modern full-stack applications for sanctions screening and payment compliance workflows.
  • Build scalable, real-time, high-availability, low-latency solutions for large transaction volumes.
  • Develop microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures integrating with enterprise payment and screening platforms.
  • Partner with Compliance, Financial Crimes, Product Management, Operations, and Architecture teams.
  • Support regulatory obligations related to sanctions compliance and financial crime prevention.
  • Maintain software quality through testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React or Angular.
  • Python experience is preferred.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL database platforms.
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
