Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Onshape features in FeatureScript for production use.
- Augment Onshape workflows by building tooling and integrating with external systems via Onshape APIs.
- Expand the capabilities of the modeling MCP built on Onshape APIs.
- Collaborate with design engineering to identify and automate repeated manual tasks.
- Build automation for MEP constraints and device placement.
- Implement automated code-compliance checks for design elements.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency across design and manufacturing.
Requirements
- BS in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of general software engineering experience, ideally in Go, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with parametric design tools like Onshape, Autodesk Fusion, or SolidWorks.
- Experience using coding agents for rapid prototyping and solution development.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and debugging practices.
