Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintainable, extensible code for products, services, and features.
- Serve as a designated responsible individual for monitoring services, responding to degradation and downtime, and escalating complex incidents.
- Participate in rotational 24/7 on-call operations and mitigate live-site issues using security best practices and minimum required permissions.
- Identify system dependencies and collaborate across teams on technical designs and feature requirements.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance through engineering and automation.
- Partner with product managers, privacy and security subject matter experts, technical leads, and other stakeholders to incorporate customer insights into solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with distributed systems and highly scalable services.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI access based on an SSBI with Polygraph.
- Successful clearance verification, Microsoft Cloud background check, and U.S. citizenship verification.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree with 6+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
