Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and project teams to define requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
- Develop, code, modify, and unit test high-quality solutions and product functionality.
- Document solutions throughout the development life cycle and ensure deliverables receive peer review.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues with code fixes and unit testing in accordance with SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment needs, including work during customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and contribute to end-to-end project delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java and SQL.
- In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools such as SQL Developer and SQL Management Studio.
- Strong experience with source code control and build systems such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command-line usage.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Experience with .NET, C, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Experience in test management and test execution is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline, including MCA or an MSc in Computer Science.
- Two to three years of total experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, customer relationship, and technical guidance skills.
