Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to gather functional requirements and develop or modify technical solutions.
- Develop, code, unit test, peer review, document, and maintain high-quality solutions.
- Review requirements, specifications, designs, timelines, and proposed solutions with customers and project teams.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues while providing code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployment-related needs, including work during customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery and provide technical guidance to assigned engineers.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of total experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline; MCA or MSc in Computer Science is also listed as an option.
- Strong expertise in Java and SQL.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools such as SQL Developer and SQL Management Studio.
- Experience with source code control and related tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command-line usage.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, ownership, and customer relationship skills.
- Experience with .NET, C, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is preferred.
- Experience in test management and test execution is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and AI tools such as GitHub Copilot is beneficial.
