Responsibilities
- Shape the technical roadmap and architectural patterns across CPQ, Billing, and Payments.
- Define and evolve domain models for pricing, products, contracts, invoices, and payments.
- Design APIs and platform contracts for developers, partners, and AI agents.
- Build extensibility frameworks and high-impact systems end-to-end.
- Own large multi-team initiatives and take prototypes to production at scale.
- Set patterns for financial correctness, contract boundaries, event-driven consistency, and safe AI-agent interactions.
- Influence product strategy across CPQ, Buyer Portal, and Revenue OS.
- Mentor senior engineers and tech leads and guide design decisions, incident learnings, and migrations.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems with strict correctness requirements.
- Strong API and platform design experience, including systems relied upon by external teams.
- Experience with complex state machines, financial flows, or high-integrity data models.
- Familiarity with agentic systems and safe AI interaction with structured data.
- Ability to work horizontally across teams, build alignment, and turn ambiguity into clear plans and working software.
- Willingness and ability to remain hands-on through coding, design, debugging, and delivery.
