Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain .NET back-end applications and services aligned with agreed architecture and squad priorities.
  • Implement APIs, domain services, background workers, integration components, data access layers, and persistence strategies.
  • Write maintainable and secure C# code using clean architecture, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, design patterns, and engineering standards.
  • Create and maintain unit, integration, contract, service, and performance tests, applying TDD where appropriate.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, automated deployment, environment configuration, and release readiness.
  • Support observability, resilience, logging, monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and production stability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex back-end, integration, performance, and delivery issues.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pairing, design discussions, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with architects, lead engineers, product owners, platform engineers, front-end engineers, and QA teams.
  • Contribute to shared back-end standards, libraries, frameworks, service patterns, recruitment, onboarding, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent capability demonstrated through delivery experience.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and modern back-end service development.
  • Experience delivering .NET services, APIs, and back-end applications in commercial or enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of clean architecture, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design, design patterns, and maintainable service boundaries.
  • Experience designing and delivering REST APIs, service components, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, and API versioning.
  • Strong SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, data modeling, query optimization, and transactional consistency capabilities.
  • Experience with microservices, containerized applications, event-driven architecture, messaging, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and infrastructure-as-code practices such as Terraform.
  • Experience with automated unit, integration, contract, and performance testing approaches.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and OWASP principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Nice-to-have experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, Vite, or Webpack.
