Responsibilities
- Support RBC financial planners, investment advisors, private bankers, and investment counsellors in using approved financial planning and advice tools.
- Conduct quality assurance and user acceptance testing for internally developed or vendor-provided tools.
- Coach users and direct them to job aids and other resource materials.
- Create and maintain job aids, user guides, reports, questionnaires, and related planning-tool documentation.
- Contribute to training-program development and facilitate training sessions for sales teams.
- Participate in working groups and cross-departmental projects.
Requirements
- Bilingual French and English communication skills are preferred.
- Undergraduate education in a related field, preferably finance or wealth management.
- A relevant designation such as CFP, IQPF, QAFP, F. PI., CLU, RRC, or PFP.
- Knowledge of financial planning software, preferably Conquest.
- 3–5 years of experience in the financial planning or wealth-management industry.
- Knowledge of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in financial planning tool development is considered an asset.
