Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable iOS automation frameworks using Appium, XCUITest, TestSigma, or equivalent tools.
- Develop web automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium.
- Build API automation suites for REST services using Python/pytest, Postman/Newman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Perform database testing, SQL-based validation, and backend data testing.
- Create end-to-end automation covering web, iOS, API/backend, and database workflows.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Build reusable automation components, utilities, libraries, and test-data management solutions.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Analyze failures using logs, API responses, database records, screenshots, and execution reports.
- Improve automation coverage, framework reliability, scalability, and execution efficiency.
- Conduct automation code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor QA engineers.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of overall software testing experience with strong hands-on automation expertise.
- Strong experience with iOS automation using Appium, XCUITest, or equivalent frameworks.
- Hands-on web automation experience with Playwright or Selenium.
- Strong REST API automation experience using Python/pytest, Postman/Newman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Good knowledge of SQL, database validation, and backend data testing.
- Strong programming and automation framework development skills.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across mobile, web, API, backend, and database layers.
- Preferred experience in healthcare, medical devices, digital health, or medical technology.
- Preferred experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
