Responsibilities
- Prototype and implement cloud-ready services, application tools, and full-stack solutions.
- Develop well-designed, testable, efficient code across frontend and backend systems.
- Build and integrate services using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Implement structured logging with SLF4J and Log4j and integrate monitoring and log aggregation tools such as Splunk and ELK.
- Ensure data integrity and business-logic correctness when working with Oracle and relational databases.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to define and optimize GitLab CI/CD build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation, documentation, and test-automation activities.
- Analyze business and technical issues, provide recommendations, and consult with IT management and senior technical staff.
- Participate in stakeholder discussions, code reviews, solution design, and application performance improvements.
- Evaluate compliance with technology standards and maintain software functionality and technical currency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of application development experience.
- High proficiency in Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, design patterns, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and Angular.
- Demonstrated knowledge of both user-side frontend development and backend server-side development.
- Experience with SLF4J, Log4j, log aggregation tools, Oracle, SQL-based data access, schema design, and data-integrity strategies.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD principles using GitLab CI, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases, and architecture design principles.
- Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka is an added advantage.
- Ability to design and develop tests and test-automation suites, flowcharts, layouts, and technical documentation.
