Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect solutions, define technical roadmaps, and align engineering work with customer goals.
- Plan resources, mentor engineers, and establish standards for code quality, testing, and security.
- Lead development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of high-availability cloud-based software.
- Provision development, test, staging, and production environments and manage automated build, deployment, and rollback through GitLab CI/CD.
- Collaborate with analysts, systems engineers, developers, project managers, and customers, including presenting at quarterly Program Management Reviews.
- Provide scheduled on-call support.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 years with an MS/MA, 3 years with a PhD, or 12 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph and U.S. citizenship.
- Security+ certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Experience defining technical roadmaps, planning resources, and aligning engineering tasks with customer goals.
- Backend development experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Frontend proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and with GitLab CI/CD, including pipelines, SonarQube, SAST, NexusIQ, and dependency scanning.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerized systems.
- Experience provisioning environments and building, deploying, updating, and rolling back applications.
- Preferred experience includes Java 17, JUnit 5, Mockito, MongoDB, Kubernetes, RKE/RKE2, Docker, Helm, RabbitMQ, PKI authentication and certificates, Keycloak, OIDC, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Jira, Confluence, Cucumber, and Selenium.
