Base Salary
$125k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Invent tools and processes for fast and correct software development.
- Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting across the Starship software stack.
- Collaborate with teams to design and maintain on-premises compute resources.
- Identify improvement areas and create innovative solutions for the Starship program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Skill with Bazel or similar build systems.
- Fluency in Python, C++, Rust, or Go.
- Experience building impactful tools and infrastructure for engineers.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and interest in improving workflows.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with high responsibility.
