Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services and platform components used by RBKS engineering teams.
- Build MCP servers and agent workflows that connect AI tooling to production systems and automate operational work.
- Own large components end to end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Identify repetitive tasks and build automation into daily engineering workflows.
- Prototype technologies, evaluate feasibility, and drive engineering best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotation and improve systems associated with recurring issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience building internal tools, platforms, or infrastructure used by other engineers.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
- Preferred: experience building developer platforms, CI/CD systems, or monitoring infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience with AWS services such as Bedrock or SageMaker.

- Position is based in Hawthorne, California, and the stated base salary is $143,700.00-$194,400.00 annually, excluding sign-on payments and RSUs.
