Responsibilities
- Deliver on technical initiatives with significant company-wide impact.
- Set technical direction for the broader ML and Search teams.
- Mentor and grow Staff and Senior Staff engineers.
- Create a strong, healthy engineering culture.
Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience building systems for relevance-driven products.
- Subject matter expert in Search, recommendation, and ML systems.
- Deep understanding of building sustainable software systems at scale.
- Experience influencing large organizations on technical direction.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver great experiences.
- Strong focus on user experience, usability, scalability, reliability, and quality.
- High empathy, excellent communication skills, and ability to find compromise.
