Base Salary
$117k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate high-performance security tools and custom scripts for SAST, DAST, SCA, and SIEM automation.
- Develop and secure Terraform infrastructure-as-code templates to harden cloud infrastructure before production.
- Lead the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle and prioritize remediation across network, cloud, and application layers.
- Partner with DevOps and Product teams on threat modeling and architectural security reviews.
- Lead technical audit support for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance using automated evidence collection and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production security issues using distributed tracing and monitoring tools.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security engineering experience for MTS-level work or 5 years for SMTS-level work, focused on building security tools.
- Strong experience with Go, Java, or Python and object-oriented programming and automation.
- Deep experience with GCP or a similar cloud platform and Terraform for cloud security posture management and infrastructure.
- Practical knowledge of network protocols, Linux operating-system hardening, and modern attack vectors.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with secure SDLC practices is desired.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes container security technologies is desired.
- Experience developing or contributing to open-source tools is desired.
