Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for Guidewire solutions and integrations.
- Perform functional, integration, API, regression, end-to-end, and automation testing across Guidewire applications.
- Identify, document, retest, and track defects through resolution using test management and defect tracking tools.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability and quality coverage.
- Participate in sprint testing, release validation, PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives, and Inspect and Adapt activities.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and Agile team members to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Contribute to automated regression test development, environment validation, test data preparation, deployment verification, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
- At least 2 years of Guidewire testing experience, primarily with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Experience with API testing, integration validation, test planning, test execution, defect lifecycle management, and SDLC methodologies.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes, including policy premium and policy forms validation.
- Experience with Rally or comparable test management and defect tracking tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Guidewire certification or a testing certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
