Responsibilities
- Design and develop product release quality assurance flows.
- Partner with product management to define product use cases and user journeys.
- Partner with TPMs and development leads to manage release status through the release management tool.
- Improve user experience by evaluating the product from the user’s perspective.
- Design and develop product-level performance testing.
- Design and develop product-level end-to-end test automation.
- Prepare and share product knowledge with SRE and technical support teams.
- Troubleshoot customer-reported product issues.
- Provide technical leadership to small groups of two to three Software Quality Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and at least two years of relevant experience.
- At least two years of enterprise-level experience in a Software Development Engineer in Test role.
- At least two years of hands-on experience with test strategy, test planning, test design, and execution for enterprise functional, integration, and PSR testing.
- At least two years of hands-on experience with robustness testing tools such as JMeter.
- At least two years of hands-on programming experience in Python or Java.
- At least one year of hands-on experience setting up cloud test environments using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or similar platforms.
- At least two years of experience working as an integrated Quality Engineer on an Agile Scrum team.
- Preferred: at least one year of software engineering experience in front-end or back-end development.
- Preferred: at least one year of experience as a technical lead organizing testing around microservices and UI.
